This week Escape Dynamics received Autodesk Small Business Innovation Award! The Autodesk Small Business Success Award celebrates businesses excelling in their industry through innovation, leadership and excellence in design work.
We have been actively working with Autodesk since 2010 and our collaboration is constantly growing through our use of Autodesk design, visualization and simulation tools. It is hard to overstate the importance of cloud-based design and simulation tools for our work. With the use of Autodesk Simulation CFD 360 we were able to simulate 100′s of different airfoils for our airframe and optimize a wide range of components for the prototype of our fully reusable space launch systems. Mechanical simulations save us time and resources that would be otherwise spent on physical prototyping. We are also using 3ds Max and other visualization tools as we are preparing our first presentation materials that will showcase Escape Dynamics propulsion systems.
